Ananya is a client-centric psychologist trying to meet people ‘where they are.’ Drawing from
strength-based practices, she believes that therapy is a collaborative space prioritizing client
autonomy. She integrates the socio-cultural contexts of her clients into her approach, believing
that therapy is most effective when it respects and reflects their unique backgrounds. She is
interested in community mental health and wants to bring a positive change in society, no
matter how small the step. She has completed her Honours degree in Psychology from Delhi
University and Masters in Applied Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai).
With a diverse experience of working with individuals during her fieldwork settings, she brings in
different perspectives to the table. Outside of work, she is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and
likes to play badminton. She also loves exploring new places, is a big time foodie and all things
fun.
