The Middle Years Programme provides child-centered programmes for 5-12-year-olds. Children of this age are rapidly acquiring new skills in education and peer environments, developed on the foundations of the early years. At this age, our work becomes more focused on specific domains for e.g. language and communication, social skills, play, emotional, cognitive, sensory & motor skills and daily living skills.
This programme is tailored for children with diagnosis or indicators of developmental concerns like Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, dyspraxia, and social and/or communication delays. A major part of this work becomes liaising with schools and other centers the child goes to. The focus is on generalization and real-life applications of skills.
Sessions are 40 minutes each.
The child attends 2 to 4 days a week
Individualized plan that may include Occupational therapy, language communication work, group work and parenting along with regular psychiatric consults and reviews for each child.
